The Voice – Airs Bizarre Ad

The Voice fans were turned off by a “ridiculous” ad aired during the live episode. The ad was for the new film, IF, which stars Ryan Reynolds. Viewers were interested in the commercial.

The ad included a performance with The Voice coaches Dan + Shay and one of the contestants. NBC Universal attempted to get viewers to watch the new movie.

However, they were interested in the film. They didn’t find the performance heart-warming or endearing. Most fans were confused by the ad. During the live episodes, they took to X, formerly Twitter to share their thoughts.

“Okay so these #TheVoice trios performances sponsored by this movie IF are kind of weird, maybe not have the movie so ingrained in the performance, maybe just show scenes on screens or something,” one fan wrote.

“#TheVoice please don’t do these cringe promos for a movie again. I wanted to get under my desk for the trio performances. I can only imagine how the contestants felt,” another user begged.

“Most weird stage performance even if it is for an unreleased movie. The singer and the duo just don’t care, they’re mediocre,” a third user wrote.

Season 26 Coach Lineup Revealed

The Voice revealed its coach lineup for Season 26. On Monday, the lineup was announced at the NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Reba McEntire filmed a pre-recorded message at the event. She announced that she was returning to the singing competition.

She then announced the return of Gwen Stefani. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg made his way to the stage. He confirmed that he’s also returning. Season 26 of The Voice also includes newcomer Michael Bublé as the fourth coach.

The shakeup came as a surprise to fans. Most assumed that Reba McEntire would leave her position as host after this season. She has a new sitcom with NBC in the works, which will air in early 2025.
