Theresa Nist From Golden Bachelor Is Writing A Book?

Theresa Nist, the first winner of The Golden Bachelor, knows that her ex, Gerry Turner, is publishing a book. Does that mean she will also dish some tea in her publication? Read on to find out.

Will The ABC Alum Publish?

This week, Swoon reported that Theresa appeared on the Almost Famous podcast. There, Theresa spoke with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. The outlet cited her talking about how they separated, and her version of what happened didn’t tie in with his.

The outlet noted that Theresa denied saying his illness had something to do with their divorce. However, she didn’t expand on her reason for the separation. She added, “I’ve never ever said what the reason is.”

Next, Theresa Nist talked about possibly writing her own book. “Right now, I decided to start writing about it,” she said. Her next words brought a few questions into play. “I don’t know if I’ll ever release it,” she admitted. “It might just be for me.” This means her book might stay private and not be for public eyes.

Gerry’s Book

Conversely, her ex-husband, Gerry is going ahead with his book. His book is titled Golden Years: What I’ve Learned from Love, Loss, and Reality TV. It will launch on November 4. In fact, Gerry’s book is already available for pre-order.

The ABC star’s book talks about his life. It covers his grief after his first wife’s death. Additionally, it also shares his time on the seniors’ dating edition. No doubt, he will spill a lot of tea based on his version of events. Many people think he just wants to stay in the spotlight despite becoming rather unpopular for dumping Theresa Nist.

A Different Approach

Theresa’s writing journey is different. It sounds as if she is exploring her own experiences, but possibly isn’t motivated by profit, and she didn’t share details about the content. Her focus seems personal, and she might just write it for herself, or her family.

Their divorce was quick and happened just three months after their TV wedding.  Naturally, people speculated about the reasons. Later, Gerry mentioned his cancer diagnosis, claiming that it contributed to the split. But Theresa disagreed.

Theresa believes that distance was a factor. But it was not the only one. Nevertheless, Gerry’s cancer is slow-growing, so it shouldn’t impact his life expectancy much. 

Theresa Nist also knows that Gerry moved on with Lana, a new girlfriend who is younger than him. Still, he claimed that he hadn’t had many regrets about marrying Theresa.
