Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley received a combined 19-year prison sentence for fraud and tax evasion. And since starting their sentences, the Chrisley Knows Best alums have used their kids and attorney to complain about the prison conditions.
But those complaints might have paid off. Because a new report reveals that both Julie and Todd will exit prison early. Get all the details below.
Todd And Julie Chrisley Get Early Prison Release Dates
Julie Chrisley received a seven-year prison sentence. And Todd Chrisley got a sentence of 12 years, with both Chrisley Knows Best alums sentenced for tax evasion and fraud.
But new federal prison records via Page Six reveal that the Chrisley Knows Best alums got significant changes in their prison sentences.
Because of the changes, Todd will get his release from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Jan. 22, 2033. That date is two years earlier than the original 12-year sentence.
And the federal prison records also revealed that Julie will serve 14 months less than her original seven-year sentence. As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best matriarch will get her release from the Federal Medical Center Lexington on Oct. 19, 2028.
Todd Chrisley’s Lawyer Calls Him ‘Model’ Prisoner
But the attorney for the Chrisley Knows Best couple believes that their release could come even sooner. And Todd’s and Julie’s lawyer Jay Surgent claimed, “Without a doubt, Todd and Julie are model incarcerated individuals who received exorbitant sentences. I believe Todd is down to 10 years, and Julie is now at five years.”

However, the attorney shared that he predicted Todd and Julie will receive additional reductions in their release dates. If so, that could result from new sentencing guidelines.
The Chrisley Knows Best patriarch, 54, and matriarch, 50, began their prison sentences in January. And Todd headed to a Florida prison, while Julie reported to a Kentucky facility, two months after their sentences for tax evasion and fraud.
Todd Chrisley’s Celebrity Status Couldn’t Save Him From Prison
Prosecutors claimed that the Chrisley Knows Best alums had submitted falsified documents to banks when applying for loans. But they also alleged that Julie had submitted falsified bank statements and credit reports when she tried to rent a house in California.
And when Todd and Julie received their sentences, the IRS issued a statement. “This sentencing serves notice that no matter a person’s celebrity status, there are severe consequences for defrauding the American tax system,” said James E. Dorsey, the special agent in charge at the IRS Criminal Investigation Atlanta field office.
Todd and Julie’s three children range in age from Chase, 27, to Savannah, 26, and Grayson, 17. However, Todd also fathered Lindsie, 33, and Kyle, 32, with his ex-wife, Teresa Terry. And the Chrisley Knows Best couple adopted Kyle’s daughter, Chloe, 10. But in the wake of her parents’ prison sentences, Savannah received custody of Chloe and her younger brother, Grayson.
