Meghan Markle Plans To Use Instagram To Surpass Kate Middleton

Recent royal family popularity polls all show Kate Middleton scoring much higher than Meghan Markle. But a new report reveals that the Duchess of Sussex plans to use her return to Instagram to prove what she sees as her superiority to Princess Kate.

Meghan Markle Plans Social Media Comeback

The Duchess of Sussex feels ready to make a triumphant return to social media. And when Meghan Markle does so, a new report via the Post predicts that she will find a way to demonstrate her superiority over Kate Middleton.

Royal expert Tessa Dunlop believes that Meghan could become more “relatable” than Princess Kate. But first, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, needs to ensure that she creates the perfect return to Instagram. And Markle already purchased @meghan on Instagram.

However, Dunlop clarified exactly how the Duchess of Sussex could become more popular than Kate through Instagram. “With Kate’s social media presence, we’re given very choreographed glimpses into her perfect, almost ‘too good to be true’ family,” explained the royal expert. “With Meghan, on the other hand, we know that she’s been through hell and back. She doesn’t have the insulation of the institution and a large family.”

Meghan Markle Must Appear Authentic

But Dunlop believes that the Duchess of Sussex must use care to create a truly authentic Instagram account. And if Meghan does so, she could soar in popularity and become much more successful.

By using her Instagram to stay true to herself, Markle can represent “every woman,” claimed Dunlop. And the royal expert feels that Meghan “doesn’t feel too out of touch, or far removed from a normal woman.” As a result, she could become much more “relatable” than Kate.

One interesting aspect of Meghan’s upcoming social media return relates to Prince Harry. Because Markle reportedly plans to use her Instagram page to represent only herself, she will succeed in showing how she made her own way. And that representation will help Meghan to open up about her life before tying the knot with Prince Harry, 38, in 2018, claimed Dunlop.

At this point, Meghan has attracted 125,000 followers to her new Instagram account. And she reportedly already has linked up with brands to represent. But an insider revealed that the Duchess of Sussex actually planned “to go live on Instagram” prior to her podcast.

However, Meghan then decided to wait. As a result, the Instagram account remains awaiting her launch. And Markle hinted at her plans in an interview last year. “Do you want to know a secret?” she asked the reporter. “I’m getting back … on Instagram.”
