Todd Chrisley To Scrub Toilets In Prison At 12 Cents Per Hour!

What a difference a few weeks will make to Todd Chrisley. Because after enjoying the holidays with family in his mansion, the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch will report to prison. And there, his days could include scrubbing toilets, according to Radar.

As a result of his convictions, Todd will see a dramatic change in his income. For instance, if the Chrisley Knows Best alum gets assigned to toilet duty, he will earn about 12 cents an hour. The Federal Bureau of Prisons divides up prison inmates’ hourly rates.

Todd Chrisley Faces A Dirty Job In New Year!

Four pay grade levels exist in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. And they include $0.12, $0.17, $0.29, and $0.40 per hour. However, bathroom jobs involve the lowest salary. And now Todd may find himself going from life in his mansion to scrubbing poop off prison toilets.

Todd Chrisley Looks At Grim Future: Did He Deserve Sentence?

The prison sentence follows Todd’s and his wife Julie Chrisley’s conviction in June. The Chrisley Knows Best stars faced charges of tax fraud as well as defrauding banks out of $30 million. However, they have both protested their innocence and claimed that the sentences seem unfair.

But protests didn’t result in any changes to the prison sentences. And on January 17, Todd will turn himself in at FPC Pensacola. As Chrisley begins his 12-year stay behind bars, his first jobs will probably be scrubbing toilets or washing dishes. As a result, his pay will range between 12 cents to 40 cents per hour. And Todd won’t get choices in his duties.

“Sentenced inmates who are physically and mentally able to work are required to participate in the work program,” according to the Inmate Work and Performance Pay rules. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum must work at least seven hours. However, Todd also needs to follow strict rules.

For instance, the guidelines say that Chrisley should “report to the place of assignment at the required time.” And he cannot quit a job unless he gets permission. As a result, refusing to work could result in “disciplinary action.”

And Todd can’t ask Julie to help him. The Chrisley Knows Best patriarch and matriarch will reside in different prisons. However, they can exchange emails and letters. And if their wardens approve, they can even mail packages to one another.
