The Chrisley Knows Best clan fears for patriarch Todd Chrisley’s life, according to a new report. But in the wake of Todd giving his first interview from prison, insiders claim that the reality TV star lied about the conditions behind bars.
And those sources believe that Todd exaggerated his complaints in a quest for freedom. However, as revealed below, Chrisley’s claims may have backfired, putting his life in danger!
Todd Chrisley – Risks Life With Constant Complaints
Soon after Julie and Todd Chrisley moved from their mansion into prison cells, the complaints began. For instance, Todd claimed that a dead cat fell into the prison’s food supplies. And both he and Julie whined about everything from a lack of air-conditioning to mold. However, insiders now warn via the Daily Mail that Todd could pay a price for his complaints.
And some Chrisley Knows Best family members want the reality TV star to stop whining. However, some sources agree with the clan. And these insiders warn that Todd has endangered himself.
Moreover, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) has denied the truth about the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch’s and matriarch’s allegations.
And the fact that Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, were found guilty of committing tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million has made observers question their credibility.
Todd Chrisley – Claims Guards Starve Inmates
Currently residing at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, Todd recently claimed that guards starve the inmates and give them food with expired dates. And the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch described squirrels and rats in the food storage area, with a dead cat allegedly once falling from a moldy ceiling.
As a result, Todd’s family worries about his “safety and well-being,” say insiders. But a prison source shared, “We categorically deny that a dead cat fell from the ceiling into the food.”
And another insider revealed that the Chrisley Knows Best clan wants Todd to stop his public complaints about the guards and his fellow inmates. “Todd’s family is now concerned for his safety and well-being after his interview,” said the source. “Because he is trying to take on Goliath when he knows nothing about how the system really works.” And the source warned, “People get killed for less than what Todd did.”
And Todd alleged that “the food is dated, it’s out of date, at minimum a year. It’s a year past expiration, and they are literally starving these men to death here. These men are getting…I don’t know that they’re getting 1000 calories a day,” he added.
Todd Chrisley – Loses Credibility
However, the FBOP reacted to Todd’s allegations. And the organization called it “the mission of the Federal Bureau of Prisons to operate facilities that are safe, secure, and humane.
We take seriously our duty to protect the individuals entrusted in our custody, as well as maintaining the safety of our employees and the community. Humane treatment of the men and women in our custody is a top priority.” As a result, the FBOP stated that officials discard expired food rather than use it.
And an insider pointed out, “Todd is thinking inside of his little box on his little platform. But there are those who have been in his prison their whole lives and have not said anything in fear of what would happen if they did.” And Todd lost his credibility over his tax evasion charges, warned the source.
“Why would he not lie about a jail cell having mold? Of course he is telling the world that it is unlivable. He sees this as his only way to get out of there and not have to live there if his appeal is denied.”
But the insider revealed that some family members want Todd to stop talking. “Everyone wishes he didn’t do all of this,” added the source. “And they think Savannah isn’t helping either on her part.”
