1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton was arrested in Tennessee at a safari park, and the news also arrived that someone in her party had been bitten by a camel. Details were also short on the exact type of drugs she allegedly had in her possession. However, updates revealed who, if anyone, got bitten by the camel and what drugs were allegedly in the TLC star’s possession. Read on for more details.
Amy Slaton Was Arrested For Alleged Possession Of Drugs
The original story about the Safari Park trip going wrong for the TLC star claimed she was slapped with “Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs.” Plus, charges of child endangerment were claimed. The mention of the camel bite was vague. But now, it seems that followups have confirmed a camel. But, the bite is controversial.
Although people knew that the kids were with Amy Slaton, along with another man, no mention was made of who had the unfortunate encounter with a camel. Now, it turns out that it was Amy. But, even that is under question.
1000-Lb Sisters Star Was Bitten Or Not?
TMZ followed up the story about the family and fortunately, it seems that the kids, Gage and Glenn were not involved in any camel biting. The outlet noted that people claimed Amy went off to the hospital with EMTs. That came after she was spotted holding a piece of material on a wound as a “tourniquet.”
Amy Slaton’s arrest came because according to sources in law enforcement, “psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana in her car … were in plain sight.” And that explained the child endangerment charges. But was she bitten a camel? TMZ asked an owner of the safari park, who doubted the story.
The Owner Denies The Camel Bite
The owner of the park claimed that the camel bite involving the 1000-Lb Sisters star is highly doubtful. The outlet cited him as saying that:
…the zoo couldn’t find any surveillance video backing up Amy’s camel bite claim. Amy was unable to explain where in the park she was allegedly bitten. [And,] the cut above her elbow is not indicative of a camel bite, because the skin is fileted open and there’s no bruised tissue.
Indeed, the curious story seems to be getting more curious by the minute. Maybe the mushrooms had been sampled before the “camel” took a chomp of TLC fame.
