Savannah Chrisley shared updates on their sentence with the media and their fanbase. It’s been a little over a year since they entered prison.
The couple was convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022. They were ordered to report to prison in January 2023.
Todd and Julie surrendered to the police and ended up behind bars. Savannah has been fighting on their behalf. She wants to get her parents home as soon as possible.

Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison. However, his sentence was reduced to 10 years. Meanwhile, Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years, but she’s serving six years. She could get out sooner than her husband.

There are questions as to whether Court TV plans to join the media circus surrounding the Chrisleys. One person brought up this question on Reddit.
One fan noted that Todd and Julie Chrisley’s legal team will likely fight “tooth and nail” to prevent the trial from airing on Court TV.
The Chrisleys never wanted to be known for their white-collar crimes. They wanted to come off as a wholesome and relatable family.
However, other fans noted that several YouTubers could livestream the trial on the platform. It doesn’t look like the trial will air on television.
Todd and Julie Chrisley’s lawyers wouldn’t allow it. It would hurt their lawyers as well. Still, fans would love to see what Todd looks like now. What are your thoughts?
