The NYPD told the outlet that Ivana was declared dead on arrival and her death is not considered death suspicious.

Ivana’s youngest son Eric shared this a post on Instagram on behalf of the Trump family: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump. Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”

Ivana and Donald married in 1977 and divorced in 1992. During their marriage the NYC power couple collaborated on several high-profile projects, including the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, the renovation of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in NYC and the construction of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. During that time Ivana held several titles including CEO and president of Trump’s Castle casino resort, and manager of the Plaza Hotel.

Before acrimonious divorce proceedings that began in 1990, the couple had three children: sons Don Jr., Eric, and daughter Ivanka.

Ivana Trump Was Married Four Times

Her most recent marriage was in 2008 to Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi who died last year at the age of 49. They married in front of 400 guests in a lush ceremony at Donald Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago estate. They divorced a year later but continued an on-again, off-again relationship until 2019.

Rubicondi told Page Six that, “Ivana is always family for me … we are super close. I have good respect for her.”

Ivana Trump Died Today In NYC

Ivana and Trump’s current wife and former first lady Melania, “haven’t always seen eye to eye and their relationship spilled over when she proclaimed she was the first lady.”

In 2017 Ivana told ABC that, “she would never call the White House because ‘Melania is there.’ And I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I’m basically first Trump wife. OK? I’m first lady.”

At the time Ivana was on a press tour to promote her memoir, Raising Trump, and Melania did not take the news flash well. A spokesperson for Melania, “slammed Ivana after the interview saying the White House’s first lady ‘plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise.’”

Ivana is survived by her three children with the former president.
