British royal family news divulges that the monarchy has had its share of interview scandals and operatic moments. Here are some of the more notorious ones, and would you believe that Prince Harry is the main offender?

Royal Family News – Prince Harry and Queen Camilla

During an interview with Anderson Cooper on “60 Minutes” in 2023, Harry turned heads with his scathing review of Queen Camilla.

Harry had been trained to view her as a villain as his own mother Diana said that she was the “third person” in her marriage. How could Harry feel anything but bitter toward the queen after that?

It’s only in recent years that the public has come around to view Camilla with dignity and respect.

In the interview Harry talked about Camilla’s PR efforts and in his memoir, Spare, he claimed that Camilla sacrificed him “on her personal P.R. altar.”

He told Cooper “If you are led to believe, as a member of the family, that being on the front page, having positive headlines, positive stories written about you, is going to improve your reputation or increase the chances of you being accepted as monarch by the British public, then that’s what you’re going to do.”

Royal News – Prince William And Prince Harry Enmity

Prince Harry claimed in “Spare” that he and Prince William argued and fought in 2019 over issues “which were based not on reality.” Harry told Cooper “We moved from one room into the kitchen.

His frustrations were growing and growing and growing. He was shouting at me. I was shouting back at him. It wasn’t nice. It wasn’t pleasant at all. And he snapped. And he pushed me to the floor.”

According to Harry (William was not given the chance to give his version of events) the tiff was over Meghan Markle and Harry was merely defending her honor.

Royal Family News – Harry And Anger Management

In an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, Prince Harry talked about his anger management issues. He talked about using drugs and therapy to cope with his roiling emotions.

In hindsight that probably didn’t serve Harry well as he is now under review for possible lying on his US Visa application about his drug use.

Royal News – Prince Harry And Oprah

Prince Harry’s most infamous interview was with Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021. In it he and Meghan made wild assertions about his family that were one by one shown to be untrue.

The public and the royals were livid at the brutal cruelty meted out by Harry and Meghan.

Piers Morgan labeled Meghan “Princess Pinocchio” and the royal family fought back with the infamous line, “recollections may vary.” And it’s been downhill ever since.
