Yet, the court battles with the tabloid media, her estrangement from her family, and all of the dirty laundries that have come out because it has given the Queen a good reason to side-eye Meghan Markle and her dramatic ways.

#2 The Sussexes Went Rogue

The seismic announcement that was ‘Megxit’ certainly did feel like a royal slap in the face for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married for less than two years when they decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family, sending shock waves throughout the monarchy and the media. No one has ever gone roguelike that on the Queen’s clock.

#3 Did Meghan Not Understand Her Role Within The Family?

There has been a lot of speculation that Meghan Markle simply didn’t understand her role in the royal family. As Prince Harry’s wife, she was the Duchess of Sussex, not the wife of a future King of England. Yet, that’s exactly how the ex-actress acted like each and every time she made a public appearance with the royals.

#4 Prince Harry Pulled Away From The Family

Never in a million of years would the royal family have ever guessed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would pack their bags and move out of their home near Windsor Castle and resettle thousands of miles away in Los Angeles. And that’s exactly what happened this year with Megxit. Meghan pulled Prince Harry away from his family, which is perhaps one of the reasons why there are so many reports indicating that he is feeling a pullback to London.

For Queen Elizabeth, image is everything. She knows that it’s best to keep the monarchy out of the British tabloid headlines and to keep the spotlight on the royal family only when it’s in a positive light. However, that hasn’t been the case with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
