5 Regrets Prince Harry Might Have Over Megxit

Meghan Markle, Prince HarryPrince Harry might be living a new life in Los Angeles with his wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie Harrison, but he might still have some quiet regrets over leaving London in the couple’s hasty ‘Megxit’ negotiations. Here are five reasons that might have Prince Harry wondering if this new Los Angeles lifestyle is for him.

He’s Relying Too Much On Meghan Markle

Now that Prince William is an official SoCal resident, he’s thousands of miles away from his royal family back in London and everyone he’s ever trusted in his life. Sure, Harry and Meghan have a handful of celebrity friends who have been helping them settle down in Los Angeles, including Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, but these are mostly Meghan’s connections and not from Harry’s inner circle of colleagues or associates.

Right now Harry is relying mostly on Meghan and her database of Hollywood friends to help them get by until the dust settles for the Sussexes in Los Angeles. For someone like Harry, it might feel unsettling to know that they are relying on a handful of people that perhaps don’t operate in the same way that Harry’s personal team of assistants did back at Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry Forced To Now Adapt To Life As A Private Citizen

While his wife Meghan Markle had a very hard time adapting to life behind closed doors at Kensington Palace, the same might be said for Prince Harry now that he’s a ‘private citizen.’ Sure, having to abide by the royal family’s strict rules and protocol might have proven to be difficult for Meghan Markle, but who is to say that Prince Harry will be able to live a life without them at all.

After all, the royal way of life is the only life that he’s ever known. But now that Harry will have to provide for his family on his own, he might find it a bit difficult not knowing if he and Meghan will be able to sustain the kind of luxurious and carefree lifestyle that he was born into. Being a private citizen is more than just making those Starbuck coffee runs on your own.

His Sense Of Duty, Loyalty And Responsibility To The Crown

Despite everything that he has gone through in his life, there’s no denying that the royal family, the monarchy and especially his grandmother Queen Elizabeth will always have a very special place in Prince Harry’s heart. Sure, he might have a reputation of being the ‘royal rebel,’ but with age Prince Harry has proven himself to be a very important and if not viable working member of the firm.

They say that you can take a prince out of the palace, but you can’t take the palace out of the prince. Only time will tell just how long Prince Harry will be able to stay away and before he realizes just how strong his sense of duty, responsibility and loyalty is towards The Crown. Watch this space as we have a feeling that this new chapter in Prince Harry’s life will quickly be followed by another one in no time.

The Hollywood Lifestyle Isn’t For Everyone

There’s a good reason why there are so many Hollywood stars and celebrities who ‘quit’ Los Angeles (but not the industry) year after year. That’s because the Hollywood lifestyle is not for everyone. It’s a place where you have to always keep up with appearances, trends, styles, and the latest pair of Gucci slides. Prince Harry might be one of the most popular members of the royal family, but he’s also one of the most laid back public figures on either side of the pond.

Soon enough Prince Harry might find the Hollywood lifestyle quite draining, if not also intimidating and a little suffocating, too. There’s only so many green smoothies and Chateau Marmont and Paramount-sponsored parties that one can handle before wanting to retreat to somewhere far away and isolating like Montana, right?

His Lifestyle Back In London

Even before Prince Harry fell in love with Meghan Markle, he was the kind of prince who didn’t mind nipping inside his favorite corner pub to enjoy a few pints with his best mates. In fact, there were some London pubs not too far away from Kensington Palace that Harry loved to frequent, knowing that everyone there would treat him just like any other ‘bloke’ there. Unfortunately for Prince Harry, he will soon find out that he won’t be getting that same treatment in Los Angeles. While the British tabloid media were very critical of Meghan Markle, Harry will find the Los Angeles paparazzi to be very invasive and yes, waiting at every corner, too.
