British royal family news reveals that Catherine, the Princess of Wales has been asked to grace the cover of Vogue magazine. Catherine made headlines last year for battling an undisclosed form of cancer and she completed preventative chemotherapy in September.
In December she held her annual Christmas Carol concert and has been easing herself back into being a working, senior royal.
According to The Mail on Sunday, “the most powerful woman in fashion” Anna Wintour, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, made a personal appeal to Kate.

If Kate decides to appear on the cover it would be the second time she has appeared on the cover of Vogue; she appeared on the June 2016 cover of British Vogue to celebrate the magazine’s 100th anniversary.
A source said “The princess has come a long way since that first cover. She’s a global fashion icon but she is so much more.” Kate is a mother of three beautiful children and a future queen.
The offer comes with Kate’s approval of photographer, and the choice to do an interview.

The outlet noted that “Her brave battle against cancer while raising three young children in the public eye makes her a role model to millions. Her story would be an inspiration to so many women going through what she has gone through.”
The source said “She would get to chose which covers she would feature on but the UK and the US would be a given.”
Days ago Catherine announced that she is in remission from cancer and “looking forward to a fulfilling year.”
She did so in a social media post: “’I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year. My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.”

She added “ We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.”
“In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer.”
“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling ear ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
The past year was arduous for Kate, with tasteless media speculation fueled by Blake Lively and Kim Kardashian as to her whereabouts prior to her cancer announcement. She had a planned abdominal surgery last January at which time the cancer was found.
