While there’s no doubt that Zara and Mike Tindall definitely like to do things their way when it comes to their life behind palace doors, it appears as though they also like to keep to themselves, too.
As a matter of fact, it’s been noted that even though Mike Tindall is active on social media he does not follow any of the official royal accounts. This includes Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Instagram account along with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s account, too. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Britain’s Express.co.uk, Mike Tindall likes to keep things rather light while he was scrolling through his Instagram account so to speak. Mike, who is happily married to Zara Tindall, is the newest member of the royal family to launch his own Instagram account.
Mike Tindall Is Following The York Family On His Instagram Account
The former rugby player has joined the social media app with the handle @mike_tindall12. He follows many of the members of the York family who have also opened their own accounts including Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie. So far Princess Beatrice does not have an account of her own.
So far Mike has over 3,000 followers and counting but is only following 126 different accounts. And apparently, none of those accounts are from the royal family.
Instead, he’s following some of his very high-profiled celebrity friends which include British television personalities Ant and Dec and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden.
Zara And Mike Tindall Enjoy The Royal Perks But Keep To Themselves
So what’s behind the royal snub? While no one knows for sure, it’s also been pointed out that the Cambridges and the Sussexes don’t follow Zara’s husband either. But then again Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a note to only follow the accounts that they want to highlight that correlates with their monthly social media campaigns.
