British Royal News suggests that there was a little confusion in the line of communication. That’s because there’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not ask Queen Elizabeth to name their daughter Lilibet. As many royal fans know, Lilibet was the queen’s nickname that only a few people used to call her, like her late husband Prince Philip. Here’s what you need to know.

According to new reports, Harry and Meghan left the queen by surprise by naming their daughter Lilibet. At least that’s what royal expert Nicky Haslam said during a recent appearance that he made on The Third Act podcast.
Haslam put it this way, “He rang her up and said, ‘We want to call our daughter after you, Granny.’ And she said, ‘Oh how charming, thank you,’ thinking it will be Elizabeth. So, he got permission, but they didn’t say the name.”
Halsam also added that the couple would have been better off naming the child after Meghan’s own mother, Doria. “Why on earth didn’t they call that baby Doria? Prettiest name ever. They go and call it Lilibet,” he said.
British Royal News – Queen Elizabeth Was Left Confused
Meanwhile, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles got to meet with their grandchildren Archie and Lilibet while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in London for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.According to reports, Charles was very emotional while meeting Archie and Lilibet. The last time he saw Archie was back in the fall of 2019 while this was the first time that he got to meet his granddaughter. One royal source says that Charles is hoping to see more of his grandchildren in the future.

“It was fantastic to see them. It was wonderful to have them back in Britain,” the source said. “The prince and the duchess were absolutely thrilled to see them. The prince, of course, hasn’t seen his grandson Archie for a bit of time and so it was very, very, very special to have some time with him. He hadn’t met Lili, his granddaughter, and so to meet her was very emotional, a very, very wonderful thing.”

I love the name but they should have been specific what name they had in mind. With so many little girls named Elizabeth after the Queen why would she be expected to think this one would be any different?

I think it is so sad to attack a baby over her name. I mean are you losing sleep over a child’s name seriously? If so you need help. Ok, this so called person claiming this he is trying to attack her parents through her name. That beautiful child has so much negative news on her and she is only one year old. All you Karen’s should be ashamed. She will grow up and be able to read these articles one day and how is that going to make her feel. How would you feel if someone wrote that about your child or grandchild. I totally agree. How childish and honest why does it matter? It’s their child and they can name her whatever they please. Just more bs and honestly people should stop being so petty and causing more drama.

Really ??..Harry and Meghan stepped down so they no longer have to follow the crazy royal rules, besides it is THEIR baby so they can name it whatever they want. People are all in an uproar about Harry and Meghan and the comments they have made..why ??..could it be because the comments are true, I have a feeling they are true. I feel that William and Kate are NOT the trustworthy and admiral people that others proclaim them to be.
Harry and his wife aren’t very good people after how they acted, but it’s their child. Thus their right to name her what they choose. I never allow others to tell me what names I picked or how to raise mine.
