According to Express.co.uk, a Clarence House spokesperson did hint that one of the reasons why Camilla feels hesitant to take on new state trips or add travel to her calendar, is because she does hate flying just like so many other people each time they get in a plane. However, it’s a fear that Camilla has regularly confronted and accepted time and time again.

The spokesperson said, “The Duchess does not like flying but I think she sometimes has to embrace that fear and get on with it.”

The site also says that when Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles traveled to Australia back in 2018, the Duchess had actually cut her trip short because of her discomfort. At that same time, she even admitted to her fear of flying during an interview with ITV’s This Morning.

Meanwhile, it doesn’t appear as though Camilla or any other member of the British Royal Family will have to worry about flying, seeing how the global pandemic that is the coronavirus has suspended all travel and forced millions of people from around the world to shelter at home to help stop the spread of the novel virus.

And while some reports say that Queen Elizabeth is eager to get back to work again, many of the royal family’s royal engagements and public appearances have either been canceled or postponed until further notice.
