Childhood Friend Of Queen Elizabeth Trashes Meghan Markle

It looks like Meghan Markle is still being attacked by some of the people who were in the old guard. There’s a new report that says that the Duchess of Sussex is being attacked by Queen Elizabeth’s childhood friend.

Even though the former Queen of England was supposedly fond of Meghan and wanted to see her stay in the royal family, Lady Glenconner suggests that Meghan simply didn’t understand what the job entailed when it came to becoming a royal. Here’s what she has to say.

While on the Rosebud with Gyles Brandreth podcast, Lady Glenconner made it sound like the Duchess of Sussex was quite clueless when it came to the royal family and that she probably didn’t do a good job of reading the job description. 

Glenconner put it this way, “I think the thing about Meghan was, she had no idea what was expected of her really. I think she just thought it was sort of like being another actress, you know. Riding around in a golden coach and everything like that. And actually, being a member of the Royal Family – a lot of it is extremely boring.”

If that weren’t enough, Glenconner also says that John Kerry once told her, “‘He said “We all feel very, very sorry for Harry. I think I can just leave it at that.”

Royal Family News  – Does John Kerry Really Feel Sorry For Meghan Markle?

Many royal fans have commented on the matter with, “As millions (including Jill Biden) had read Spare by the time of the Coronation I took it that he meant the way the RF had treated Harry.

I think it was Lady Anne who wanted his comment to be about Meghan,” along with, “This is how I took the comment, too. I thought he was diplomatically saying felt sorry for Harry for the ish his family put him through.

But of course the anti-Meghan cotangent, including this woman who has profited from her connection to the BRF/Princess Margaret, would spin the comment in a way that fits her anti-Harry/Meghan narrative.”
