It’s not everyday that a royal – a senior royal at that – pens an indepth memoir about growing up as a royal. Released on January 10, “Spare” sold like wildfire and even broke a Guinness World record for the fastest selling nonfiction book. Now, Sarah Ferguson is here with a brand new book and she thinks that she could even rival Harry.

Sarah Ferguson Touches On Harry’s Memoir During Interview Promoting “A Most Intriguing Lady”

The Duchess has written more than a few books, including 2011’s memoir “Finding Sarah: A Duchess’s Journey to Find Herself,” children’s book “Tea for Ruby,” fictional book “Her Heart of a Compass” and the latest, “A Most Intriguing Lady.”

The historical saga is about a Duke’s daughter who is motivated by her love of family and country, and it offers a sweet tale of intrigue, romance and espionage.

During a chat with Holly Willoughby and Joel Dommett on ITV, the Duchess of York joked about exceeding Harry’s memoir, “Spare” in sales numbers.“Someone who’s still currently on the top of the general hardback chart is Prince Harry with his memoir,” Holly said (via Hello!). “I mean, could this knock that off?”

After giving the question a hot second to think it over, she confidently replied, “Well, you know… I think so. I think Jeffrey Archer, too!”

“Take ’em all out!” Holly urged, to which Sarah responded, “Yeah, take ’em out!”

Sarah then went on to talk about cyberbulling, and even though it’s not clear what exactly she was referring to, it’s been speculated to be about the level of online abuse Harry and his wife are getting.

“I think the most important thing is: here I am. You’ve got to stay positive, you’ve got to find joy bubbles. I think there’s too much unkindness. I think that social media is a sewer, and I think cyberbullying has got to go.”

No one knows the level of relationship Sarah currently has with the Montecito-based Sussexes, but it is possible that they’re close, as the couple are close to her younger daughter Princess Eugenie.
