Well color us surprised on this one. There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle is none too pleased after hearing that Kate Middleton had invited Prince Harry over for tea the last time that he was in the UK.

Apparently, the Duchess of Sussex thinks that with this invitation, her sister-in-law is meddling and undermining her. Here’s what you need to know.

According to a new report, Kate Middleton is doing her best to try and repair the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry. But of course, she knows it won’t be easy.

That’s why she’s been trying to take baby steps by inviting Prince Harry over for tea in the hopes that they can sort things out before William and Harry have an opportunity to speak with each other one on one while in the same room, too.

But if there is one person who thinks this isn’t a good idea, it’s Meghan Markle. That really shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, seeing how the Duchess of Sussex herself has been keeping her distance away from the royal family. But Kate doesn’t seem to really care as she knows how important the relationship between William and Harry once was and why it needs to be repaired.

One source put it this way, “Kate checked in on Harry while he was in England, which meant a lot since very few others bothered to extend any type of welcome. She called to invite Harry over for tea, but he declined because there was such little time, and he’s just not ready to face William while things are still so awkward.”

What’s Next For Prince Harry And The Royal Family?

The insider went on to say that Kate wanted to remind Harry that he still has a family and that “everything can be forgiven one day.”

But the Duchess of Sussex thinks differently. The tipster said, “Meghan doesn’t appreciate Kate meddling. It’s undermining her and she finds it manipulative.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
