Even though Prince Harry looked like he was having the time of his life during the LAFC vs Inter Miami CF soccer game in Los Angeles this past weekend, a lot of people couldn’t help but notice that his wife, Meghan Markle was nowhere to be seen.

Even though the Duchess of Sussex was on the guest list, she opted to stay home at the very last minute.

There’s now some speculation that David and Victoria Beckham might be the reason for it. Here’s what you need to know.

Did Meghan Markle Stay Away From The Inter Miami Game Because Of David Beckham?

As many royal fans are probably already aware of by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a major fall out with David and Victoria Beckham.

Some reports indicated that Meghan was none too pleased when she found out that Victoria was supposedly leaking stories about her in the press.

However, there were other reports that suggested it was David who wanted to distance himself from the Sussexes.

That’s because he’s still hoping for a knighthood from King Charles and that the Beckhams’ connection with Harry and Meghan would have just hurt his chances of getting it more than help him.

With that said, it’s been many long years since Harry and Meghan were last seen with the Beckhams. And because of the uncomfortable situation between them, that might have been one of the reasons why Meghan Markle didn’t show up to the LAFC soccer game against Inter Milan.

She just didn’t want to risk being seen having a tense moment with David and Victoria Beckham because she knows that it would do nothing more than fuel the gossip and rumors about them even more.

So far Meghan Markle herself hasn’t made any comments as to why she was a no-show at the soccer game but despite all of the uneasiness, Prince Harry did look like he was having a very good time hanging out with Hollywood stars like Will Ferrell.

Clearly, his love for the game is much stronger than anything else which is why he decided to go see Leo Messi in action.
