There’s a new report that suggests it was the Prince of Wales who made sure that the Duke of York paid his price by making sure that he was stripped from his royal patronages at HRH titles.

This all came after Prince Andrew made headlines for his sex scandal and of course, his close association with the very controversial but also dead Jeffrey Esptein.

In Omid Scobie’s book, Endgame, the royal author says that it was Prince William who pushed King Charles to do something about Prince Andrew as he was creating a lot of unnecessary drama for the royal family.

But then again, the Duke of York himself knew that his punishment was coming.

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Duke Of York?

Scobie wrote, “Prince William set the wheels in motion to remove these royal trappings from his uncle in January 2022, when the prospect of an out-of-court settlement involving money from the family’s private wealth were all damaging the monarchy’s reputation.”

“William was keenly aware that the horrific allegations, the fallout from the embarrassing interview, and now the prospect of an out-of-court settlement involving money from the family’s private wealth were all damaging the monarchy’s reputation.”

Scobie also added that Prince William didn’t think that his father King Charles was competent enough to tackle Andrew’s scandal, as the two men have very different leadership skills.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
