Harry & Meghan Part 2: Harry Claims The Palace Lied To Protect William

The trailer for Harry & Meghan Part 2 dropped on December 12 and in it, Prince Harry claimed that “they were happy to lie to protect my brother.” Presumably, “they” are his family.  Ahead of the release of his book, “Spare,” which arrives in the new year, many critics wondered if he would be crying a river because Prince William was the favored son. Well, it might turn out that way as he certainly seems resentful in the Netflix docuseries. 

Harry & Meghan Part 2: Prince Harry Never Wanted To Be King

Back in 2017, the youngest son of now-King Charles and his late wife, Diana Spencer claimed that nobody wanted to inherit the throne. And yet, he seems to be deeply annoyed that William was groomed to do just that. Additionally, he seems determined to take down the second-in-line to the throne. Whether Prince William described his brother and Meghan as akin to the Kardashians or not, isn’t clear. But, throwing loved ones under the bus for celeb status probably disgusts the older son. 

Harry & Meghan Part 1 received some very strong reactions from royal family lovers and critics. Did it cause the cry to abolish the Monarchy to gather a stronger voice? Very possibly, judging by social media. However, the family survived attacks in the past and probably won’t dissolve because a young brother to the heir feels hard done by. By now, it seems that a lot of people just view Prince Harry and his wife as celebs willing to say anything to stay in the headlines. 

Harry & Meghan Trailer: They Lied To Protect William?

Scandal when the boys were younger, mostly focused on William’s younger brother. Remember the swastika? At the time, a lot of sympathizers just wrote it off as a young man in the army making a mistake. However, there’s not much about William doing anything startling: Apart from claims that he allegedly cheated on Kate Middleton with Rose Hanbury. And even if he did, there’s a long line of royal offspring historically born on the wrong side of the bed. 

In Part 2 of Harry & Meghan, Prince Harry said that “they were happy to lie to protect my brother.” Next, he added, “they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.” Unfortunately, there’s no way of verifying what “they” might have hidden from the public. And there’s certainly no way to verify what William’s brother claims about the aversion of truth about him and his wife.

Just A Quiet Life In The USA

Harry & Meghan viewers seem very irritated with the former royals. After all, they both claimed they just wanted a quiet life. Now that their life is anything but quiet, of their own making, it seems to smack of hypocrisy. 

On YouTube, Angela K said sarcastically, “I love the part where their jealousy knows no bounds regarding William and Kate. Tear drop left eye.”

Another critic, Aesha Alberts opined, “This is beyond disgusting what they are doing to Prince William and the palace 😢.”
