Harry Preparing For His Big Return To The UK

Prince Harry Meghan MarklePrince Harry is preparing for his big return to the U.K. He will be visiting the Scottish capital on Wednesday, February 26 to join a working summit as part of his environmental tourism initiative, Travalyst. His desire to start a new life will bring him back to one of the most familiar places in the world: Edinburgh, Scotland. The 35-year-old previously admitted that while his exit from the royal family is “saddening,” he is still looking forward to the working summit as part of environmental tourism initiative, as per People.

This is Harry’s first high-profile event in the U.K. since he and his wife announced their exit from the royal family in January. Meghan Markle and their 9-month-old son, Archie, will not be present during the event. But they still have a busy few weeks ahead of time, as per Observer. Travalyst launched in September 2019 to help encourage both companies and consumers to take on travel habits that help both the communities and the environment. Harry will work with over 100 members of the Scottish tourism and travel industry to finalize the details of how this can be accomplished.

Harry will not make a speech or take part in a panel during the event. Later, Harry and Meghan will make a joint appearance at the Endeavor Fund Awards for the injured service personnel on March 5. Harry will then join Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton at the iconic Silverstone racetrack the next day. The couple will be spotted together again on March 7 to attend the Mountbatten Music Festival at Royal Albert Hall, which is also the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 80th anniversary of the foundation of Britain’s Commandos.

March 8 kicks off their “farewell tour,” with Meghan commemorating International Women’s Day with a special appearance. Details have yet to be released. The couple will finally join Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family during a Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in London. Even though the couple is officially stepping down from their royal duties on March 31, Harry’s final royal event takes place on April 26 at the London Marathon.
