Just recently television personality Piers Morgan lashed out at the Duchess in a scathing post for the Daily Mail. He claims that the former Hollywood actress apparently “ghosted” him after she met and fell in love with Prince Harry. Piers had assumed that they were good friends but was left out in the cold once Meghan became involved with Harry, hinting that she is an “opportunist” among other things, too.
And now many of Meghan’s fans are coming to her defense and even attacking Piers and some of her other critics on social media. “She frequented the coffee shop I worked in Toronto and she was always pleasant no matter the time of day even when the place was crazy,” one tweet read. “Stop trying to get clout off Meghan’s name.”
Quite a number of fans spoke up about the unfair and negative press that Meghan has been getting. One person wrote, “The intensity with which so many people are hating on Meghan Markle is an example of how this world can’t see a woman achieve something out of her league and own it.”
Another person added: “If you want to know how few [the critics] are, just look at the crowds [at Harry and Meghan’s] engagements. That should tell you more. The vocal voices are trying to sway the public about her but it’s not working.”
Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about Piers Morgan and his post in the Daily Mail or any of the criticism she has received lately. Instead, the Duchess is simply focusing on her royal engagements and charity work and of course is looking forward to the arrival of her first child.

She goes to the Coffee Shops? Well, what for? Hot water and lemon?
Markle said that her mornings often began quite early in order to make it on set, usually around 4:15 a.m. . Rather than reaching for a big cup of coffee, Markle’s first drink every morning is hot water with freshly squeezed lemon
Green juice is a food-as-medicine philosophy for me,” Markle tells Delish, likening her green juice to a late-afternoon cup of coffee.
Markle says she’s avoiding coffee on purpose, and frequently reaches for green juice (or kombucha) to get herself through long days. “I think trying to go for coffee or things like that only end up hurting you in the end,” she says. “[Green juice] is a really good natural source of energy… that gets right into your system as a nice pick-me-up.”
