Being Second In Line To The Throne Carries A Heavy Weight

Prince William has been second in line to the throne of England since his birth so he’s not a stranger to the title or the heavy burden it carries.

William is the first-born child of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.

He married Kate Middleton in 2011 and the two have three children together, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

The prince has not been idle as many seem to think the life of a royal entails.

Prince William Many Achievements

While still a teenager the prince began attending St Andrews University in Scotland.

After serving time in the Royal Air Force the Duke continued to make a name for himself serving five years as a search and rescue pilot.

He has accomplished many things in his relatively short life, completing college with a Scottish Master of Arts degree, serving in the military, playing sports, DJing on the radio, and even teaching children in Chile for 10 weeks.

Before going to Chili, the Duke took part in British Army training exercises in Belize, worked on English dairy farms, and visited Africa.

Prince William & The Royals Do Not Sit Idle

However, it should be noted that, contrary to public sentiment, royals do not sit idle.

From a very young age they begin the long and arduous process of being molded into royalty and William is not an exception.

In fact, being second in line to the throne of England practically makes him the rule.

Born William Arthur Philip Louis in June 1982, William has clearly accomplished more in his 39 years of age than most people accomplish in 50 so it is understandable that people would expect him to be older or certainly want to know his age.

It may surprise readers to know that the price’s wife Kate Middleton is only six months younger than Prince William and, as we’ve previously reported has her own very extensive list of accomplishments, many even before she was married to the prince.
