Wow, the new King is already getting a myriad of support from his people mere days after becoming the Sovereign. I mean, we saw the man tear up on camera when he heard dozens of people singing
God Save the King, and it deeply touched people’s hearts. Already, 63% of people think he’s going to be a good king. Now, all he has to do is prove them right.
New YouGov Poll Shows Support For King Charles Has Seen An Increase
More than two-thirds of Brits believe that King Charles will be a great king, up a third in the past six months.
According to the poll conducted by YouGov, a total of 63% think that Charles, 73, will be a good monarch, compared to a mere 39% who believe he’ll be so in March. At the time, only a fifth voted that he’ll be a bad monarch.
It is the first survey polling people’s reactions to the Royal Family following the Queen’s death on September 9.
The survey also found that nine in ten Brits believe that the Queen’s long reign was a good thing for the UK, with a record 87% believing that she’ll go down as one of the greatest monarchs the UK has ever seen.
According to the poll, published by The Times, almost three quarters of the people who took the poll believe that King Charles the III handled his mother’s death and his accession to the throne expertly, with only five percent saying that he handled it badly.
A huge majority, 94% to be exact, thought that his first address to the nation was beautiful, with only 3% being critical
New Poll Shows That People Are Optimistic About Queen Camilla
Let’s just say that before the Queen died, she paved a way for her son’s wife to rightfully take up the title “Queen Consort” – even though a little more than a decade ago, Camilla Parker Bowles respectfully said she wouldn’t be known as such when Charles becomes King.
Finally, as the Queen’s wish earlier this year has now been fulfilled and Camilla is the Queen Consort, how did people react to the news?
The new survey showed that 53% claimed she would do a good job, as opposed to the 18% who believe she’s not fit for the role.
