Is Meghan Markle’s Mother Doria Ragland Moving To London For Her Grandchild?

It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t have to worry too much about hiring a team of royal nannies to take care of their first-born child. That’s because there’s a new report that says Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland is looking to make the move from Los Angeles to London in order to be closer to the royal couple and of course, her first grandchild. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that suggests Doria is already shopping for a place to call home in London.

The Duchess of Sussex is very close to her mother. After all, Doria was the only member of her family invited to her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in May. So, it’s no wonder that Meghan wants to have her mother live very close to her, especially now that she is about to become a mom herself!

Apparently, Meghan and Doria speak on the phone every day. And now Doria is looking to make the move, seeing that things are going to change for Harry and Meghan in more ways than one. The royal couple is going to need all the help they can get as they try to juggle their new role as parents and of course, working members of the British royal family.

A royal source told Vanity Fair: “Doria is very close to her daughter, and she has made several secret trips to England. They speak on the phone pretty much every day and they are talking about Doria getting a place in the UK so that she can spend part of the year over here. I think the idea is that Doria will have a pied-à-terre here so that she has her own space. She wants the ability to be here more often, especially if grandchildren come along.”
