A few years ago no one would have ever even thought about this, yet here we are today. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William is already being labeled as the UK’s secret weapon when it comes to diplomacy with Donald Trump.
Royal Family News – Is Prince William The UK’s ‘Secret Weapon’ For Donald Trump?
That’s mostly because the two men seemed to have gotten along very well when they met for the reopening of Notre Dame in Paris this past weekend.
Not only that, but President-Elect Donald Trump even went as far as to call Prince William a “good man” during what looks like a very pleasant meeting between the two men. He also said that he’s doing a ‘fantastic job’ as the Prince of Wales.
Trump even said after their meeting: “We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk. The prince plainly wants to be a statesman in his own right and, according to his aides, the meeting was arranged at short notice.”
Daniel Hannan, a member of the Conservative party in the UK, thinks that this is a step in the right direction for Britain.

He put it this way, “It seems that even the Donald is – at least by his standards – a little subdued in the presence of royalty.”
Hannan added: “Did they discuss Ukraine or the prospects of a US-UK free trade agreement? I doubt it. Heirs to the throne are not meant to be political. But the very fact that there was this meeting will have bolstered Britain’s interests on both issues.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.
