Something just isn’t adding up. A lot of people can’t help but wonder what might really be going on for Prince William and Kate Middleton behind closed doors.

That’s because there’s a lot of speculation suggesting that there could be a lot of tension in their marriage.

Otherwise, why would the palace be pushing out so many stories about how much they are in love so many years after their royal wedding, right?

For a lot of royal critics, the contradiction is telling, especially since both the Prince and Princess of Wales always look like they would rather be anywhere else but with one another whenever they are together during their royal engagements and public appearances.

In fact, a new report by Reader’s Digest says that William and Kate are “still so in love” and that the future queen of England goes out of her way to sometimes surprise her husband.

But for many royalists, they can’t help but raise an eyebrow over the headlines. Some even commented on social media with, “This is the equivalent of a nice guy never has to tell you they’re a nice guy or a good person never has to tell you that they’re a good person.”

Another critic wrote, “Kate and William would’ve functioned perfectly if it were 1996 instead of 2026. The propaganda doesn’t work, because of the internet, smart phones and social media. Now it’s just cringey and weird. They’re performative and inauthentic. How about ask why they don’t live together.”

And then there was this comment as well: “This! Exactly how and why his parents were able to keep up the facade for over a decade and why it was so shocking and a big deal when the Morton book came out in the summer of 1992 and shattered that whole fairy tale.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
