The royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, still have their hands full with their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Some people may think that they have it easy since they have hired a full-time nanny to help them.

But that’s actually not the case. There are a lot of things that Kate is struggling with as a mother, and she believes that other mothers experience this as well.

Kate Middleton Spoke About The First Year Of Her Children’s Lives

The Duchess of Cambridge shared her experiences during the first of year of her child’s life with parents and volunteers who attended the charity Family Auction in London. The main goal of the organization is to help families that are in need of practical, emotional, and financial support, particularly those who are less fortunate and socially isolated.

During her visit, Family Auction launched a new program called FamilyLine, a free hotline that parents can call if they need help in dealing with some tough family problems. They can also contact FamilyLine through text and email.

“It’s so hard. You get a lot of support with the baby as a mother particularly in the early days, but after the age of 1 it falls away,” Kate said during the event. “After that there isn’t a huge amount — lots of books to read. Everybody experiences the same struggle” she added.

Prince William Said He Was Overwhelmed By How Tiny Babies Are

Kate’s better half, Prince William, has also had his own set of struggles. During a U.K. event held in February this year, called Future Dad, the Duke of Cambridge shared his own experience.

He said that babies are so small and fragile. He felt overwhelmed and concerned by how tiny babies are. He feared that they would break if he moved too much.

The royal couple also know that, as their children grow up, they have to establish house rules. Although they already have a few rules in place, they admit that they are still trying to figure out the other rules that they have to impose like TV time, online time, and more.

But if there is something that they really want their kids to understand and practice, it is to be honest and open about their feelings.
