Kate Middleton Shares Unseen Photos From Visit To Pakistan In Her First Instagram Post

Kate Middleton shared his first personal Instagram post when she shared some unseen photos of the royal visit to Pakistan. The Duchess of Cambridge shared seven photos when she visited the SOS Village orphanage in Lahore.

The visit to the orphanage wasn’t planned. The royal couple returned to the place after they were forced to stay overnight in Lahore because their plane, which was bound to Islamabad had to return due to inclement weather.

Their decision to return to the place was because they felt they only “touched the surface” during their initial visit. The charity is home to 150 orphans who can no longer live with their parents. The photos showed the couple sharing laughs and jokes with the kids and the staff at the orphanage. One captivating photo showed Kate holding a cricket bat while Prince William threw a ball towards her.

Kate Middleton Wore A Traditional Kurta Made By Pakistani Brand Elan

Many people noticed the glamorous and classy traditional kurta, which Kate wore in the photo. It is made by Pakistani brand Elan. The outfit’s monochrome design and stunning embroidery paired with nude J. Crew nude pumps were the perfect attire for the Duchess.

In her post, Kate, in which she signed off with Catherine, she shared an emotional message that said, ‘The community at the SOS Village is built around family – and the best possible family you could imagine – where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care. These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive.”

Although this marked Kate’s first Instagram post, her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry aren’t new to these kinds of posts. The royal siblings have always taken a hands-on approach and have shared personal posts on their own social media accounts.

Prince William and Kate reached 10 million followers on Instagram back in September. The couple use their Instagram account to post photos of their children for official engagements and most of these pictures were taken by the Duchess.
