A phone call from the U.K. doesn’t mean much these days of low-cost long-distance calls. Unless, of course, that call happens to come from Kate Middleton, with Meghan Markle as the recipient.
Because many feel that Meghan owes Kate an apology for wrongly naming her as a racist, it might not seem to make sense that Princess Kate would call the Duchess of Sussex. But an insider told In Touch that Kate rose to the occasion for a very special reason.

And the source pointed out that Kate’s call comes more than two years after Prince Harry joined Meghan in alleging that a senior member of the royal family had expressed racist “concerns about how dark Archie’s skin color might be when he was born.”
However, because the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie’s royal tell-all, Endgame, just named both Kate and King Charles as the royal racists, Kate felt humiliated, said the insider.
And the royal family feel no doubt that Meghan and Harry told their buddy Omid that Kate and King Charles had made racist remarks.
The Duchess and Duke of Sussex have previously confessed that they shared details of the royal family with Scobie. As a result, Kate felt “it was humiliating that Harry and Meghan would [allegedly] accuse her of something so horrific,” noted the source.

Royal Tale Takes Twist No One Predicted!
As a result of what some see as a public smear campaign via Scobie’s book, Meghan’s interviews, and Harry’s memoir Spare, “no one would blame Kate for never speaking to them again,” noted the insider. But prepare for a stunning turn in this royal tale that no one predicted.
And amid the royal racist accusations, Kate called Meghan. However, the princess made that phone call to the duchess only because King Charles requested the conversation.
“This feud has gotten so unseemly and out of hand, it’s starting to overshadow his reign and the entire monarchy. He wants to heal the rift once and for all,” explained the source.
Because William, 41, refuses to talk to Harry, 39, “Charles forced Kate to become his peacemaker. She agreed, because when it comes to the royal family, Kate has always taken her duties seriously,” said the source. “She does what she is told.”
Kate Middleton Fears A Phone Leak
But Kate, 41, made that call after Prince Harry called her out for making his wife Meghan, 42, cry before her wedding.
And the Duke of Sussex claimed that Kate made a rude face when Meghan wanted to borrow her lip gloss. But he also described Kate as nervous about comparisons to his wife.
However, Kate made the call anyway. “Their talk was four years in the making,” noted the insider. “And obviously it wasn’t easy, because who knows what could end up being leaked from their private conversations?
But Kate has apologized to Meghan before, and she knew what to say. Her kind words had an impact, and they both got pretty emotional.”
And so the women agreed to a truce. But the source predicted that Kate and Meghan will “never truly see eye-to-eye. And nothing will change how Meghan feels about the way she has been treated by Kate and the rest of the royals. But Meghan is estranged from her own father,” pointed out the insider.
Prince William Won’t Follow Kate’s Lead
As a result, the Duchess of Sussex “knows how tough it’s been on Harry to feel abandoned by his family. She’s vowed to do what she can to help. Both she and Kate want to start over,” said the source.
However, William and Harry may not succeed in a new start. And the source noted, “Kate may have grudgingly put the past behind her out of loyalty to the family. But William can never forgive Harry for the way he’s thrown Kate under the bus.”
And Harry feels “incredibly hurt by how he has been ostracized by his brother.” As a result, the Duke of Sussex demands that the royal family apologize. But it doesn’t seem likely, particularly from William, warns the source.

Does that make her forgive Maghen or just be a fake? William is very stubborn and arrogant. Harry is immature and is lost without family. William needs to get over himself and Harry needs to quit demanding an apology. They are Both wrong. Get over it and make up for your mother’s sake. She didn’t raise you to be like this. Hello All, I think it’s a great beginning with an higher level of self which is wonderful and let’s hope the cry baby William can grow up as a man truly follows suit. His temper has been exposed and he is pissed by it all, how dare you tell the world what an ass he truly is. He is this way with his wife and his family members. Many are very sick of his temper and disrespect to others because he won’t work to see things in their perspective only his own. Not the sign of a good leader or world leader in negotiating wars of the world. My gosh this baby steps and has created a world war in his own family because of his actions of pure stupidity and stubbornness. A real glowing example of a super jerk and immature baby. It’s hard to admit our faults but if we refuse we never grow or expand our horizons or experiences in the world. This is huge in the healing of this family coming back together in a healthy relationship again. ♥️
King made a big mistake using Princess Kate to call Megan as it shows Megan as being a favorite of the King. Kate was ordered and followed protocol. Question now is will there be a new book how Megan proved that she is the King’s favorite of daughter-in-laws and Princess Kate had to lower herself to Megan. Hopefully Megan will come forward now with her secret daughter being raised by Joe Giuliano parents which the parents have come forward with that news and photo. All info is published on Google.
You’re full of rubbish. Kate/ Charles and Will were abhorrent. They all need to evolve and mend. Meghan has attributes and important human skills that can bring honesty and dignity into The Firm. The Royals are outdated and irrelevant to real 21st Century life. They ACTUALLY DO NOTHING. Charles needs to become a man and a FATHER FIRST. He’s despicable.
Charles is afraid of confrontation and William won’t let anyone get a word in edgewise. Charles needs to get in the same room with Harry and Meghan, and apologize for being such a rotten father. Any other father would’ve had this ironed out years ago. Enough with the leaks by Charles’ courtiers telling the press that father and son are talking on the phone. Charles, make room in your schedule to go to California, or invite Harry and Meghan to the UK! Supposedly, you’re the king! Or are the courtiers ruling the roost in England like they did when elizabeth was queen? Don’t keep making the same mistake Elizabeth made, of letting the courtiers get rid of Harry because he “married beneath” his class. They made Sarah’s life hell instead of helping her, they made Diana’s life hell. Harry and Meghan left because the courtiers wouldn’t butt out, because they lied to the Queen repeatedly, because they leaked lies to the tabloids, and backed the racism in the tabloid articles. Charles needs to finally put his foot down, apologize for not stopping the courtiers’ leaks and lies. For not acting like a father to his sons, who are now estranged. William and Catherine need to get off their high horses and accept that Harry loves his wife, and nothing is changing that. They need to accept this intelligent, well educated woman who found herself thrown into the most dysfunctional family ever, and abused by the press and social media non stop.

You nailed it one hundred percent. Family is family no matter/Royals or not! It starts with Charles really looking at his father’s hip was very poor! At least I believe Harry loves his wife. William loved Kate one time fully as romances are supposed to be. Now William has let protocols stand in the way of true family ties. Princess Diana would not approve of Williams attitude.

Kate certainly owes Meghan the appology and she can never take back the racist remarks she made. Charles has always been a asshole and I havnt seen much different out of William. While i respect Kates class and elegence she should have been the bigger person before she made uncooth coments about her nephew.

I don’t believe their remarks were racist. They were inquisitive . Everyone, yes everyone has probably thought the same thing, what color will Archie be? If that is a racist remark, then Santa Claus is real. When two people, marry, and one is white and one biracial, you never know if the child will be white, mixed, or black. Why is that racist? It’s just a fact.
I agree with you. Everything in this world is racist now. Not true. IF Catherine said anything she prob meant is baby gonna be fair like Dad or dark like Mom. That’s not rascist. I think Megan needs to get over it, most women don’t share their personal items, such as gloss with anyone. These two women obviously have different views on many things and should be accepted as such instead of acknowledging it as negative action against each other. I think in time they can heal the rift between them, it is too soon after Harry and Megan has run down their families for forgiveness to be in the picture. They have done something against their family that is not easily forgiven or forgotten. Wether the phone call is sincere or not is not important, it was a first step and that is all that matters.
I am really sick and tired of the whole cry baby attitude Meghan has been since baiting Prince Harry. I am sure others will agree that Meghan had her eyes set on becoming the Queen of England. That would be the worse appointment in all of the Monarch history. Meghan does not deserve having the honor to be called a duchess, or understand the duties of being called a Duchess. Money cannot be an issue for “security” as I am sure Prince Harry received a good sum of inheritance from his grandparents, and one day will receive a good inheritance from his father. But maybe they should cut them off in the same way they cut them off.
As a West Indian, I think that calling out King Charles and the Princess of Wales as racist is total rubbish. We all ask the same question! No one is offended in the Caribbean! To us it’s the same as wondering about hair and eye colour. It was wrong of Oprah to start the ball rolling. Americans have ignorant ideas when speaking of race! The issue needs to end.
As far as who made whom cry… it’s water under the bridge, ask how many brides have cried before their Wedding day.
Everyone needs to stop feeding into Harry and Meghan’s antics. The Royal family should stop worrying about public opinion. At the end of the day they are a family. The dirty linen has been well aired it’s time that both parties put the laundry away!!
