Kate Middleton To Regain Royal Spotlight Due to ‘Megxit’

Even though Kate Middleton is one of the public’s favorite Royals, she has become less talked about than Meghan Markle. Even though the former actress has dealt with mostly negative publicity, she in a way took the spotlight away from Kate. Now that Prince Harry has moved his family to Canada and they stepped down from their royal positions, could the Duchess of Cambridge get her chance to shine once again?

Kate Middleton’s Media Coverage

Ever since she married Prince William, the public has been in love with Kate. She’s beautiful, classy, sweet and has a way of being proper, but not in a high and mighty way. It was once said that Queen Elizabeth felt Kate was dignified and that’s true.

The press usually paints Kate in a positive light. However, not everyone in the Royal Family gets that privilege.

Meghan Markle’s Negative Publicity

Like Kate, Meghan also married into the Royal Family when she walked down the aisle with Prince Harry. However, she would get a very different reception than the Duchess of Cambridge. The former actress has always dealt with negative publicity and doesn’t have the same skills as dealing with the elite that Kate does. As one person said once, while Kate was born for this, Meghan clearly was not.

It doesn’t make her a bad person. She’s probably a wonderful lady, but it takes a very particular and special person to be able to successfully handle Royal life. To Meghan, the press are like vultures and most of the reports about her are negative.

Royals News: ‘Megxit’ a Good Thing For Duchess of Cambridge?

It seems that there is at least one Royal commenter who feels that “Megxit” might be a good thing for Kate. Even though there is a lot on her shoulders right now, with Meghan out of the UK, even on a part-time basis, that means there will be more emphasis on Kate.

The Duchess has never indicated any jealousy for Meghan stealing her spotlight. However, some Royal commenters have noticed it and brought it up.

With Meghan out of the country, could Kate regain her position in the spotlight? Some certainly think so.

Regaining the Royal Spotlight

During a HeirPod podcast, Omid Scobie asked Royal expert Juliet Riden,

“… will the media start to look at other members of the Royal Family again and will the Cambridges have their moment back in the spotlight as they did many years ago?”

Reiden feels that they will and that it has already begun.
