Kate Middleton’s Long-Term Goals As A Royal Wife and Mom Revealed

The Princess of Wales has her eyes set on one thing, and according to royal insiders, it’s not going to change even when she trades her Princess of Wales title for that of a Queen.

Her most important priority continues to be to ensure that William balances his royal duties with being a father. After all, we’ve been hearing that the Princess favors a hands-on approach to parenting for years.

Royal Insider Claims Princess Kate Sees Her Role As A Supporting One

What kind of Queen will Kate Middleton be one day? Insiders fancy that they can tell. For one thing, they say that she’s always seen her role as a “supporting one” and that she prefers to act as a “gatekeeper” for her husband Prince William, who will one day become King.

Making sure William continues to balance his fatherly duties with his royal duties is said to be the mom-of-three’s long-term goals. It also helps that they’re both on the same page regarding every aspect of their lives.

“These are the things he wants—as normal a life as possible, private time for his family, and control over how he organizes his life and work,” an insider told The Times.

“Kate is just as strong on control and privacy as him,” they added. “In that glare of publicity and scrutiny, they are very tight, very close, very strong—and cancer has made them closer and stronger, which is very common in families facing these challenges.”

Last year was a particularly trying time for the Royal Family as they were hit with a double cancer diagnosis for two of its most senior members. Even though Kate’s cancer type and stage was not publicly revealed, she announced in January this year that she was in remission – much to the delight of fans.

The Princess of Wales is “hugely influential behind the scenes in hiring and decision-making, and they approach it as a team,” the source added, before remarking on how the duo, who have been a couple for twenty years, have this great chemistry. Of course having an understanding and being in agreement of set goals helps a marriage function even more smoothly.
