It looks like they are doing it for the good of the nation. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles is currently working with Prince William as the two men have managed to strike a deal amid his abdication plans. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

There’s heavy speculation that suggests King Charles is looking to make a historic announcement about his abdication which will pave the way for Prince William to become king and Kate Middleton to become queen.

It might even happen as fast as the next couple of weeks as the King of England certainly doesn’t want to waste any more time.

One source close to the situation even put it this way about the supposed deal: “They worked out a kind of accommodation of how much limelight each is going to be allowed. Because Charles is always very jealous of the other people stealing his limelight.”

“He’s worked out a deal now whereby William and Kate can have an allotted percentage of the limelight.”

The insider also added, “It must be tough for Charles, a man who waited over 70 years for the big gig, to play second fiddle to his son.”

But then again, it’s also been said that both Prince William and Kate Middleton are very nervous about this huge move as there’s going to be a lot of changes taking place in their lives. Whether or not they are actually prepared for it though remains to be seen.

Now, whether or not that’s going to happen anytime soon remains to be seen though. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
