King Charles Is Having A Hard Time Tolerating Harry And Meghan As ‘Part Time Royals’

Either you are in or you are out, but there’s no way that you are going to have one foot in the door. At least, that’s what King Charles might be thinking to himself these days each and every time he hears about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

There’s a new report that suggests the King of England will never tolerate the Duke and Duchess being part-time royals and he’s got a good reason for it.

According to The Daily Mirror, one source close to the situation says that King Charles is probably wincing in pain each time he hears Harry and Meghan being referred to as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

While he’s allowed them to retain their royal titles, he doesn’t like the fact that they act like they are part-time royals.

Royal author Tom Quinn, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, said that even Queen Elizabeth was against Harry and Meghan’s wish to be “half in, half out” with the royal family.

Quinn put it this way, “The whole emphasis between King Charles and Prince William is that you cannot go against the late Queen’s firm belief that you can’t be a part-time royal.

You can’t hobnob with celebrities in America for six months and then come back here and pick and choose which events you want to be part of.

I don’t think Charles and William will agree to that simply because Elizabeth hated the idea.”

But then again, Harry and Meghan haven’t really done any royal work ever since they permanently left London back in 2020.

Instead, they’ve been working on their own projects and contracts and have for the most part distanced themselves from anything royal.

With the exception of Queen ELizabeth’s funeral last year, Meghan Markle has also not visited the UK at all.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
