Either you are in or you are out, but there’s no way that you are going to have one foot in the door. At least, that’s what King Charles might be thinking to himself these days each and every time he hears about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
There’s a new report that suggests the King of England will never tolerate the Duke and Duchess being part-time royals and he’s got a good reason for it.

According to The Daily Mirror, one source close to the situation says that King Charles is probably wincing in pain each time he hears Harry and Meghan being referred to as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
While he’s allowed them to retain their royal titles, he doesn’t like the fact that they act like they are part-time royals.
Royal author Tom Quinn, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, said that even Queen Elizabeth was against Harry and Meghan’s wish to be “half in, half out” with the royal family.
Quinn put it this way, “The whole emphasis between King Charles and Prince William is that you cannot go against the late Queen’s firm belief that you can’t be a part-time royal.
You can’t hobnob with celebrities in America for six months and then come back here and pick and choose which events you want to be part of.
I don’t think Charles and William will agree to that simply because Elizabeth hated the idea.”

But then again, Harry and Meghan haven’t really done any royal work ever since they permanently left London back in 2020.
Instead, they’ve been working on their own projects and contracts and have for the most part distanced themselves from anything royal.
With the exception of Queen ELizabeth’s funeral last year, Meghan Markle has also not visited the UK at all.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.

I feel that they’ve been very hard and The Duke & Dutchess of Sussex. There are similar articles about The Prince & Princess of Wales Not working all summer and Catherine is working less than any working royal. So if say she’s working part time as well. The new firm needs to adapt to modem times across the board, not just for one of the Kings children while holding judgement against the other for doing nothing but looking out for his family. And then there’s Andrew. Need I say more?
They ARE NOT part time royals.
She is nothing but a gold grabber. Will never be a real royal. She doesn’t have the class nor the style that Kate dies. She
should stay put in the USA where most people don’t care that she is supposedly a royal. Which she never will be. Harry has lost his zest for life. She has drained him.
They need their titles removed. We do not have royalty in the United States. She is a citizen of the United States. I do not believe she ever achieved British citizenship. Lili is a United citizen. Archie is British.I think these two need to be treated just like the King who abdicated his throne. He was never allowed to any part of the Royal family while he was alive. The same should be true for Harry and Megan and their children.The children will know nothing of their extended royal family. They won’t even know any of their mother’s family because Megan is the family wrecking ball.
Just take all of their titles away even their pretend childrens titles problem solved if it bothers you so much
Listen I’m an American but I follow the Royal Family. How can anyone even consider themselves “half-time “Royal”? They haven’t done ANYTHING for the family in over 3 years. In my opinion they shouldn’t even be allowed to keep their HRH titles. As for their children who yes are Royal by blood should be able to keep their HRH titles but NOT Harry and Megan
