And one financial expert offered a prediction of what awaits Meghan Markle on Instagram. “I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram,” said adviser Eric Schiffer via Page Six.

But Schiffer continued to compare Meghan’s social media power to that of a celebrity like Kim Kardashian. “You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can command $1 million and up for a single post promoting a product. There is no reason Meghan couldn’t be earning those sorts of fees,” theorized the financial expert.

And various insiders claimed that Meghan, 42, had acquired the Instagram handle @megan. However, one source denied that the Duchess of Sussex will return to Instagram anytime soon. And the insider questioned, “How can she make money if she doesn’t even have Instagram and has no plans to have one?”

Meghan Markle Will Need To Find ‘Quality Brands’

But if and when the Duchess of Sussex returns to social media, Schiffer warned that Meghan must remain “careful.” And he said that she needs to learn to avoid “hawking every product under the sun.” However, the financial expert then predicted that Markle will quickly learn to “align with quality brands and companies that are on point with her political and social beliefs.”

And for an indication of her future, the Instagram handle @meghan already attracted about 820,000 followers. But amid all the rumors about Meghan returning to Instagram, she also has sparked gossip about her acting comeback. And those rumors stem from Markle signing with Hollywood powerhouse Ari Emmanuel’s WME in April.

“The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency & its broader ecosystem,” revealed WME at the time. And the talent agency shared that those ventures include “film & television production, brand partnerships & more.” As a result of that reference to brand partnerships, Schiffer says Meghan’s return to social media represents the “next logical step.”

As for what Meghan plans in terms of a return to acting? One insider hinted that the Duchess of Sussex has plotted something that no one expects. “Meghan and the team are working hard,” teased the source. “I think it will be surprising, it won’t be what everybody is expecting it to be.” But look for a new project that feels “familiar to who Meghan is,” added the insider.
