King Charles has no time for games. There’s a new report that says the King of England wasn’t about to play Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tune during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral back in 2022.
In fact, it seems like King Charles was even distant and cold-hearted to the Sussexes during the entire time they were in the UK. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to Page Six, King Charles, who was still technically Prince Charles at the time, basically pretended like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were thin air.
One source close to the situation even said that the Sussexes certainly felt alienated by the rest of the royal family, which is probably one of the many reasons why Meghan Markle has decided not to return to the UK.
The insider put it this way, “These photographs of Harry and Meghan with Charles at the Queen’s funeral seem to make Harry’s subsequent disloyalty to his father seem even more hard-hearted and unpleasant.”

It was also noted that during the funeral procession, both King Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles would not look at Harry and Meghan even once. Of course, the royal family had a reason to act the way they did towards the Sussexes.
Even though Prince Harry’s book Spare hadn’t come out yet, everyone was still reeling over his and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021.
During their tell-all, both Harry and Meghan suggested that there was a ‘royal racist’ behind closed doors as someone had shown particular concern over how dark their baby’s skin would be.
Prince William was forced to go on the record to state that the royals were not a racist family but by then the damage had already been done.
