Meghan And Prince Harry Look Like Attention Fiends During Covid-19 Pandemic – Nobody Cares About “Archewall?”

Narcissism is supposed to properly be viewed on a spectrum. As many royal watchers (and many average Britons who could care less) believe, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the pathological end. That’s because, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, the tone-deaf Duke and Duchess of Sussex have tried to remain as much as possible in the public eye. This, despite Harry and Meghan’s constant protestations about too much media in their lives before they stepped back from royal duties.

While the whole world reels from the impact of the Coronavirus, Meghan and Harry are pushing their newly created non-profit organization, “Archewall.” In fact, they’ve said they want to do something that “matters.” Of course, many in merry old England (and the rest of the British Isles and Commonwealth) believe Harry and Meghan could have done something that matters by remaining with the British Royal Family and supporting Great Britain while it goes through one of the biggest crises in recent history.

The fact that Harry and Meghan have effectively continued to shout, “Look at me! Look at me!” since moving to America doesn’t sit well with many. The fact is, “no one” cares about Harry and Meghan’s new organization. To date, 8,958 people in the U.K. have died due to a Coronavirus infection. There are almost 74,000 confirmed infections. Everyone is sheltering in place. They are self-isolating. Businesses are hurting. People are losing their jobs. The economy is sliding.

Yet Harry and Meghan continue blathering on. The disgust by the average British subject is real when it comes to Harry and Meghan these days. No one likes watching the Duke and Duchess of Sussex behave as if they are living in an ivory tower where life continues as it always has. Meghan and Harry seem to revel in the lifestyle of the rich and famous with nary a thought to the actual, real plight faced by millions upon millions. No, with Harry and Meghan, like Marie Antoinette before them, it seems to be a continual, “Let them eat cake” moment.

To be fair, Meghan and Harry have made noises about wanting to help and to contribute during the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the issue isn’t really that Meghan and Harry want to help. Perhaps Harry and Meghan are entirely sincere in that desire. Yet, if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being straightforward in their sentiments, then surely there must be a better way than to send out press releases. Surely there must be a better way to do something that currently matters than to spread hype about a non-profit that even Harry and Meghan aren’t sure how will benefit the world.

The bottom line is that appearances matter a great deal. If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wish to create goodwill and be known for how many people love rather than despise them then perhaps they would be wise to take heed.

A great many people might be less offended if Harry and Meghan were seen to be doing more and speaking less.
