Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just released the teaser for their highly anticipated Netflix show. And the release sparked questions about its timing. Because Meghan and Harry dropped the trailer amid Prince William’s and Kate Middleton’s U.S. visit.

Kate And William’s Pals Cringe Over Meghan, Harry’s Netflix Trailer

In a perfect world, brothers Prince Harry and Prince William would cheer for each other. For instance, Harry could have taken time to support his brother’s Boston trip. But instead, the Netflix trailer for the Harry & Meghan show got all the attention. And many accused Harry and Meghan of timing their trailer to hold onto the spotlight.

However, one moment in that trailer infuriated friends of Prince William. And William’s wife Kate Middleton reportedly feels upset along with her own friends. The moment in the Netflix teaser features a cameo from the Prince and Princess of Wales, noted She Knows.

The cringe-worthy scene shows Kate and William with solemn faces. And the Princess and Prince of Wales appear just after Meghan appears crying. The trailer also shows Harry declaring, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”

‘Sickened’ Over Use Of Will And Kate In Harry And Meghan’s Show

As a result of the sequence of images, William’s and Kate’s friends feel “sickened” about the situation, said royal expert Richard Eden. And he described the pals as irate over “the use of William and Catherine and the image and the way it’s presented.” Netflix editors appear to have chosen white and black photos to add to the drama.

And based just on that trailer, the royal family reportedly has begun worrying what the actual series will reveal. The show will begin airing on December 8. And Eden admitted that the royal family feels anxious about what lies ahead.

However, the Palace already faces challenges trying to figure out the racism scandal within its ranks. And insiders also revealed that the future likely will contain more family feuds. Despite that short reunion at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, the so-called Fab Four of Harry, Meghan, Kate, and William doesn’t seem to have achieved peace.
