Meghan Markle And Prince Harry To Keep Royal Baby’s Birth Private

Prince Harry - Meghan MarklePrince Harry and Meghan Markle are not like any other royal couple. In addition to some of their most unusual decisions since they got married, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have announced that there will be no photo ops following the birth of their first born.

They will not be posing outside a hospital, like Kate Middleton and the late Princess Diana did after they gave birth to their children.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,” reads a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

This afternoon The Duke of Sussex visited an OnSide Youth Zone in Dagenham, as a continuation of his longstanding work in supporting young people and the belief that sport can change and sometimes even save lives. @OnSideyz creates state of the art ‘Youth Zones’ for disadvantaged communities to provide children and adults aged 8 to 19 (and up to age 25 with a disability) with a safe and inspiring place to be for mentorship, support, and guidance. Having a community centre such as @OnSideyz creates a safe space, a network of support, and a sense of belonging for thousands of young people, to help them deal with issues they’re facing such as knife crime, domestic abuse and teenage pregnancy. Participation in youth zones is proven to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour by half or more. Earlier this year, The Duke was joined by The Duchess of Sussex in opening an OnSide club in Birkenhead. Above, a few moments from past visits as well as from today, to highlight the valuable and necessary work @OnSideyz does for the community. Duke And Duchess Will Share The News Once They’ve Celebrated

“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

But that doesn’t mean the couple will never pose for a photo. According to a Palace source, the couple will eventually have a photo op together with their newborn.

“It will probably be within a few days of the birth, but there is no time limit. It will depend on how the birth goes and how the Duchess is feeling.”

Public Will Be Informed – There Will Be An Official Birth Announcement

The public will still be informed once Meghan Markle goes into labor, and there will also be an official announcement once the baby is born. Aside from that, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also share their first photo together with their baby most likely on their new Instagram account.

The new account under @sussexroyal, was launched during the first week of April, after the Queen granted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry their very own royal household that is based outside the Buckingham Palace.

Currently, the couple’s new Instagram account contains a collection of their travel photos. Soon, this will be filled with photos of the couple and their newborn.

The creation of the new Instagram account came after the official announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be separating their household from Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
