Meghan Markle Becomes Grinch Who Steals King Charles’ Christmas!

Meghan Markle seems to have based her holiday plans on the Grinch Who Stole Christmas book plot. But rather than ruin the holidays for the Who’s in Who-ville, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly could destroy Christmas for hubby Prince Harry and his father King Charles.

Meghan Markle Ruins Harry’s And Charles’ Christmas

When King Charles finds out about Meghan Markle’s Christmas plans, he just might feel tempted to give her a new title: The Duchess of Grinchville. However, Prince Harry’s father may also blame his son.

And the situation looks like a repeat of last Christmas, when Meghan and Harry avoided taking their children to spend the holidays with the royal family.

Royal expert and historian Tessa Dunlop revealed via the Post that the Duchess and Duke of Sussex plan to stay in California this Christmas.

“Christmas is coming and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of transatlantic tension,” noted Dunlop. “But don’t hold your breath,” she added. “Just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence.”

And for King Charles, that means that he will miss out on a “Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren,” noted Dunlop, referring to Meghan’s and Harry’s son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet. However, Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, could use their lack of a place to stay as an excuse this year.

Meghan Markle Sparks ‘Marital Tension’ With Harry

Because King Charles evicted Meghan and Harry from their former residence, Frogmore Cottage, they need a place to reside if they visit the UK. However, Dunlop thinks that the Duchess and Duke of Sussex might “branch out and buy somewhere of their own” in the UK. And if they do, she predicts that will represent “a mission driven by homesick Harry.”

But because Prince Harry feels homesick for the UK, he also may view his wife like the Grinch who stole his Christmas. And overall, the plan to stay in California for Christmas reveals marriage problems, claims Dunlop. “As with so many Sussex rumors, the subtext here is marital tension,” she shared. “Meghan is just fine in California with her celebrity chums, hot new agent and pending return as an influencer. Not so Harry, who is often pictured looking, well, spare.”

However, financial considerations may also keep Meghan and Harry in California. The couple has expressed concerned about security measures when they visit London. “I’m sure Harry would like a bolthole in London,” noted Dunlop. “It’s his home city after all.”

But she feels “it makes no sense for the safety-obsessed Sussexes to invest in a private property when they can bunk up with cousins on the Windsor estate or stay in one of London’s working palaces where the security brief is on-tap. Rather it is we the British public who are missing Harry. Let’s face it, this new more discreet Duke and Duchess who keep themselves to themselves in America, popping up occasionally to do good works is a bit boring.”
