Meghan Markle Played ‘Hot Chick’ In Romantic Comedy

Before the Duchess of Sussex tied the knot with Prince Harry, she focused on her acting career. And her just-leaked resume reveals what Meghan Markle viewed as her key qualifications.

The CV via the Daily Mail shows Markle proudly including everything from her “special skills” to her acting credits prior to becoming a suitcase model on Deal Or No Deal.

Meghan’s resume highlighted her role of Natalie “Hot Chick” in Ashton Kutcher’s 2005 romantic comedy, A Lot Like Love. But she also included her height of 5’6″ and weight at the time of 113 lbs. Markle listed her hair and eye color as brown. And she also boasted about a role in the CBS drama, Century City. In 2004, the now-Duchess of Sussex portrayed a party guest named Natasha.

Meghan noted her theater roles as well on her resume. For instance, she added to her acting credits with Annie, Into The Woods and Stepping Out. And she shared her training, such as musical comedy and voice classes. Markle listed her “special skills” as including fluent French and Spanish as well as dancing and kickboxing.

General Hospital Casting Director Gave Meghan Markle TV Credit

The social media source who leaked Meghan’s resume shared, “I had the pleasure to meet the lovely Meghan Markle several times as an agent. But funny enough I couldn’t get the agency to sign her with just a few credits.” However, the user noted that Markle “kept calling” despite rejections.

And the insider praised Mark Teschner, the casting director on General Hospital. His decision to offer Markle her first network TV credit showed he knows “how to pick them,” added the source. Markle appeared in two episodes on General Hospital in 2001. She portrayed a nurse named Jill.

But Meghan finally got a steady gig as a briefcase model on the game show Deal or Deal. She appeared in 34 episodes in from 2006 to 2007. And Markle later called it a “learning experience.” But she also threw some shade. “Deal or No Deal helped me to understand what I would rather be doing. It was ‘in the category of things I was doing while I was auditioning to try to make ends meet,'” she added.
