Meghan Markle ‘Craved’ Royal Family’s Rejection?!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have portrayed themselves as trying to fit into the royal family. But according to the Duchess and Duke of Sussex’s narrative, the rejection from the royal family became unbearable. As a result, they swapped their lives and royal duties in the U.K. for profitable careers in the United States.

However, a new report claims that Meghan actually never wanted to achieve the royal family’s approval. And she allegedly did her best to get rejected. Find out more below.

Palace Insiders Feel Meghan Markle Sought Royal Rejection!

Meghan Markle never really wanted to achieve the royal family’s acceptance, claims a new report. And royal expert Valentine Low quoted palace insiders as believing Markle longed to feel rejected. Because the Duchess of Sussex never desired to stay in the U.K., Meghan allegedly did all she could to create royal controversy, Low told the Express.

Soon after she began her relationship with Prince Harry, Markle started to seek “rejection” from the royal family, claims the royal expert. And Low quoted royal family insiders as describing how Meghan put herself in a position “to be rejected by the royal establishment.” Because Markle “never wanted to stay” in the U.K., Meghan impressed some Palace aides as feeling she “craved rejection,” stated Low.

Author of “Courtiers: Intrigue, Ambition and the Power Players Behind the House of Windsor,” the royal author feels Markle also suffered from “unrealistic expectations.” And Low observed that two factors combined to create Meghan’s problems. First, Meghan created expectations impossible to fulfill “about what royal life would be like,” said Low. But “the palace’s failure to manage those unrealistic expectations” also resulted in conflict. 

Prince Harry Quickly Joined Meghan Markle’s Media ‘Obsession’

However, the Duke of Sussex played his own role in creating problems. And Low believes Prince Harry felt unhappy with his royal life before Meghan arrived on the scene. As a result, the royal author sees Markle as increasing Harry’s discontent.

And Low feels the Duke of Sussex never trusted the royal family. But he also joined Meghan in “his obsession with the media.” And the royal author noted Harry’s “desire to create an impact and do something useful.” However, Markle then allegedly took advantage of her husband’s longing to avoid becoming “middle aged and boring.”

But Low puts some blame on the royal family for the conflict. “The Palace handled it badly. Harry and Meghan were clearly unhappy. Being born in the family should not be a life sentence,” added Low. “It was handled clumsily.”

And in the wake of Buckingham Palace confirming in February 2021 that Harry and Meghan would no longer fulfill their royal duties, the Palace at the time sought to put a positive spin. The royal statement claimed that “all are saddened by their decision.” However, the Palace then called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “much loved members of the family.”

And since moving into their mansion in California, Meghan and Harry found new ways to support their affluent lifestyle. However, with their negative comments about the royal family and Harry’s memoir, Spare, their popularity has fallen. And some think that the Duchess and Duke of Sussex need to apologize for their repeated slams of the royal family.
