The more that she’s trying to be real, it seems like the more that’s just not working out for her. Of course, we are talking about Meghan Markle as there’s a new report that suggests her critics just can’t stand how “fake” she comes across at times. Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s Critics Can’t Stand How ‘Fake’ She Is

Apparently, critics think that the public can smell the “fakery” when it comes to Meghan Markle and her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, and Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. Or at least that’s what royalist Alex Dyke believes.

While on GB News, she says that the public might not be able to connect with Meghan Markle and the image that she’s trying to sell right now. 

The Duchess of Sussex is trying to sell a lifestyle that is heavily curated and perfect, but that’s not what fans want to see right now. Instead, they want to be able to relate to an influencer that oftentimes shows the good, the bad, and even the downright ugly.

Dyke put it this way, “I don’t think there’d be an appetite for that with Meghan. I watched the TV show with Silvester Stalone the other day, which was good because I’m a fan of Silvester Stalone.”

“It was just another version of the Kardashians. But the problem with Meghan, I think that the challenge is people don’t warm to her for whatever reason, so they won’t invest their time in it.”

He continued, “I could be proved wrong. They can smell fakery. That’s the thing that we all know people and presenters who would just say that it’s entirely fake.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
