Meghan Markle Desperate for Royal Family Truce for Personal Gain, Says Expert

According to reports, the Sussexes want to pretend that nothing from the last few years happened. They didn’t go on Oprah to lay several accusations at the Royal Family’s feet.

They didn’t carry out character assassinations via different interviews and podcast and shows, and let’s not even talk about ‘Spare.’ According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle believes they can kiss and makeup, just like that.

Well, I say that each side should carry on with their lives and stay out of the other person’s hair. How’s that for a deal?

Meghan Markle Hopes Princess Kate’s Return To Royal Duties Might Trigger A Reconciliation

Harry and Meghan up and left the Royal Family, as well as slandered their names for good measure, and yet the only people talking of reconciliation are still the pair of them.

Harry talked reconciliation all the while he promoted ‘Spare’ – a book which saw him call William his arch-nemesis and describe his father’s wife as a “wicked stepmother.”

But yay, let’s hug it out, right?

According to a source speaking to The New York Times, this is exactly what the Sussexes are planning to achieve.

“Meghan’s desperate to come across as the bigger person and end this feud between them — appearing like some sort of royal saviour could only do her image good.”

They added: “Their hope is that (Princess Kate’s return to work) might take some of the heat off them and possibly trigger a truce with her and William, and with the King, too.”

One of the ways Meghan has made her moves to kind of soften the blows they dealt on the Royal Family – remember when her royal mouthpiece Omid Scobie named King Charles as one of two senior royals who made racist comments about a then-unborn child Archie? – is by sending a gift basket to Clarence House. And not just any gift basket, one that is filled with her As Ever products.

Prince Harry Reportedly Told Meghan Markle To Rebuild Ties With Princess Kate

Another example of Harry and Meghan’s eagerness to heal their relationship with the royal family is the way they showed their support for Kate during her trying times last year.

Last year, when the internet went crazy that Princess Kate edited a Mother’s Day picture she shared, Harry reportedly advised Meghan to reach out to her.

An insider told OK! magazine: “Harry thinks it might be the perfect time for Meghan to reach out to Kate because she knows what it’s like to come under fire from the public and the press.”

They added: “Harry wants his family to return to the UK, and he knows that the only way that will happen is if Meghan can repair her fractured relationship with Kate.”
