Meghan Markle Desperately Wants To Land A Dior-like Contract Through WME

It’s been months since Meghan Markle inked a deal with Hollywood talent agency WME, and since then, the only fruits of that signing is her appearance in an ad for a latte company she has investments in.

At this point, Meghan has grown desperate to close big deals, especially since her name appeared amongst Hollywood Reporter’s top losers of 2023.

As we already know, the former actress lost out on a lucrative Dior deal to a Kate Middleton actress on Netflix’s “The Crown.”

Since stepping down as a senior royal, Meghan Markle has put her best foot forward to build a thriving empire for herself.

This seems to come with its own blockades, especially since their multi-million dollar deal with Spotify ended disastrously, with her and her husband being tagged “grifters” by a top Spotify exec. However, Meghan Markle is not giving up on pursuing her fashionable dreams.

According to Tom Bower, she’s still very much interested in inking lucrative deals with fashion brands. “Meghan has made huge efforts,” the royal biographer told Closer Magazine. “She does look amazingly good at the moment – and is clearly working hard at it.”

“I think she’s looking desperately for an endorsement with something like Dior and that’s been a disappointment because she hasn’t landed one contract.”

Meghan has noticeably worn Dior on several occasions, including official royal events like Queen Elizabeth the II’s funeral. In June 2023, rumors started spilling that she and Dior were knee-deep in talks. A Dior insider quickly rebutted this story, saying they were “nonplussed as to how the story came about.”

In November, in a move sure to sting the Duchess, it was revealed that Meg Bellamy, 21, who played the young Kate Middleton in season six of Netflix’s hit drama “The Crown,” is the new face of Dior.

Since then, there’s yet to be an announcement of Meghan signing with a reputable fashion house, but sources say this is all set to change when she revamps her defunct blog The Tig.
