Meghan Markle repeatedly has boasted about becoming a social media influencer. And the Duchess of Sussex planned to make millions by representing A-list brands such as Dior.
But in a clear indication of how Meghan has fallen from regal royal family member to D-list celebrity, she just made a humiliating appearance in a coffee company ad. Get all the details on how the Duchess of Sussex dropped to her lowest point below.
Meghan Markle Brews Up Coffee Ad
For months, Meghan Markle has sparked rumors that she planned to become a highly paid influencer for A-list brands like Dior.
And the Duchess of Sussex reportedly plotted to make millions through starring in carefully chosen upper-class company ads as a brand star. However, in a shocking failure, Meghan just appeared in a coffee company’s ad.
And an instant coffee latte company showcased the Duchess of Sussex as a “slightly nerdy” employee in a social media video via People. Clevr’s Instagram page focused on Meghan’s appearance rather than on the instant latte brand itself.
And the caption read, “Damn, you’re keeping us BUSY right now! Had to call in some reinforcements.” In the video, Clevr co-founder Hannah Mendoza welcomes fans. And she adds, “I want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing Clevr team here at HQ. Without them, we are nothing.” But a zoom shot revealed Meghan in the group.

Meghan Markle – Called ‘Slightly Nerdy’
And Mendoza introduces the crew who packs the boxes. However, then she calls out “the “very smart, only slightly nerdy digital team” including Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex dons business attire for the occasion. And other scenes include Meghan with a team member.
However, beyond appearing in ads, Meghan privately invested in the company. But the news that the Duchess of Sussex chose an instant coffee company for her highly touted career shift to social media influencer and brand representative sparked a flood of reactions.
And rumors have soared that her talent agency WME dumped her. But critics also slammed Meghan on Reddit. For instance, the sight of Meghan in a coffee ad “makes me think she has definitely been dropped by WME,” wrote one critic.
Meghan Markle – Goes ‘Rogue’
And commentators noted that the coffee company represents Meghan’s “first post royal endorsement.” However, “WME wanted more than just some Instagram influencer and tried to market her as something more,” noted one critic. “But no one took the bait and she has gone rogue too many times because she ‘knows better’ than the people she is paying to manage her.”
As a result, speculation soared that the talent agency “dumped her and she has run back to all of her old tricks with the PR plants and now this piece of clever cr*p. I think she is testing her influence and marketing reach with no risk to her since she invested already in the company.”
But one critic noted, “It’s amazing how she manages to fail so hard at every single thing she does. Not one single thing about this is good.” And another confessed, “At first I thought this was a parody. But then realized it had to be the real IBLW after seeing the Cartier Tank watch & KC3‘s tennis bracelet. Plus everyone else in the ad is, understandably, wearing one outfit. Only Meghan requires 4 separate outfit changes like she’s at the freaking Invictus Games.”
Tell us what you think. Amid the criticism, one fan cautioned Meghan that the more she tries to “act cool, the less cool you’ll come across.” Do you agree? And after you share your views, check back on our site for more royal family news.
