Meghan Markle ‘Freed’ Prince Harry From His Royal Shackles, Says Friend

Meghan Markle apparently did one hell of a job ‘freeing’ her husband Prince Harry from his royal shackles. And by that, we mean she helped him better speak his mind and move away from the mentality of never complaining and never explaining, which is something that the royals are very used to.

Apparently, it was the Duchess of Sussex who helped her husband speak up and speak his mind. And because of it, Harry is no longer afraid to say all of the things that he otherwise wouldn’t say as a full-time royal if he were back in London.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the anonymous source put it this way, “He’s free from the shackles of that mentality. In Meghan, he has found someone supportive of that stance and he’s emboldened by that. But the bigger picture is that he believes there are some very significant wrongs that need to be righted.”

And while Harry might be freed from that mentality, he’s also feeling more free to be himself. A separate report suggests that the Duke of Sussex couldn’t help but shed a tear while he was in court last week as part of his case against the Mirror Groups Newspapers.

At one point, his lawyer, David Sherborne, said, “Prince Harry, you have been in that witness box for over a day-and-a-half. You have had to go through these articles and answer questions knowing this is a very public courtroom and the world’s media are watching. How has that made you feel?”
