Royal Family News: Queen Camilla “Irritated” Around Princess Kate, Body Language Expert Claims

British royal family news reveals that Queenzilla Camilla continues to get a bad rap when it comes to her public behavior with other members of the royal family, especially one younger rival in particular.

Sometimes the camera reveals more than it should and according to one body language expert, Queen Camilla is being caught out with unexpected emotions and awkward behaviors—let’s dissect what this is all about royal fans!

Body language and behavioral expert Judi James told Express that she believes Camillazilla looks displeased when forced to be in the company of other royals and her pique is most pronounced when standing with Kate the Princess of Wales.

James noted “It’s taken Camilla so long to try to win the public round after the death of [Princess] Diana that she’s unlikely to look anything other than sweet, kind, friendly and compliant at royal events. But there have been some moments … when her body language has appeared to go off-message and suggest boredom, frostiness, or strong irritation.”

She added “In 2019 there was another unhappy look from Camilla, who appeared frozen out of the conversation between Kate and Letizia of Spain. While the two younger royals seemed to get on like a house on fire, Camilla was seen lurking in the background with no one to talk to.”

Following Queen Elizabeth II’s death on September 6, 2023, Camilla and Kate’s status changed with Camilla becoming Queen and Kate becoming the Princess of Wales.

But the good news is that gracious Kate seemed to offer Camilla a “polite gesture” during one royal event, perhaps trying to appease the wife of King Charles.

According to MSN, the moment happened at the annual Remembrance Day Service last November. The two women “stood next to each other on the balcony overlooking the Cenotaph for the Remembrance Day service, 2022. James observed Camilla showing gestures of open anxiety. She looked unable to keep totally still and spoke to Kate at one point but while looking straight ahead rather than turning to her.”

James noted that at that point Kate “turned her head quickly in a gesture of polite concern. Kate’s calm and very still body language was in contrast to Camilla’s nervous movements that showed the most in the fluttering of her hymn sheet as her two hands fiddled with it throughout.”

Concurring with James, lip reader Jeremy Freeman claimed that Kate said to Camilla “Shall we go in now?” showing that Kate deferred to her elder, reading the room correctly and showing the proper level of respect.
